Town of Elma Considers Retirement Incentive
An early retirement incentive may be offered to Town of Elma employees who qualify under guidelines recently established by the state. Supervisor Michael Nolan feels it could help the town save money by eliminating or leaving vacant the positions of those who take the incentive.

Are lawsuits a huge deal to a clinic? Or is it a common event?

So I’m suing a clinic for a botched medical procedure and lack of informed consent…..The administrators went to huge lengths to try to prevent me from filing a lawsuit. For example, they kept telling me again and again that I signed a consent form (but the form didn’t show the real risks and I know that) and also altering my medical records…

My question is….isn’t it not that big of a deal in the sense that their liability insurance will simply pay for the settlement???? Why do they care that much?? And as for as the nurse, do they usually fire nurses that screw up at the clinic after the lawsuit is settled??
Why couldn’t they just admit they made a mistake if their liability insurance will pay???

Because the more claims that are paid by their liability insurance, the higher their premiums go up. And the more their premiums go up, the more they charge the medical insurance companies for the care you receive. And the more they charge the medical insurance companies for the care you receive, the more the medical insurance companies increase your premiums.

And to think that the Dems think the entire health care problem is the medical insurance companies fault.
